Welcome to Aircraft Prints and the Home of The High Flyer.
You'll find hand-crafted, bronzed statues commemorating the grit and determination of the men and women who participate in high altitude manned reconnaissance flight. Unlike any other aircrew flight ensemble, the depiction of the aircrew "stepping to his jet" in the full pressure suit carrying his LOX cooler, spurs clanking on the tarmac, is accurate in detail and scale. Find out more about this exclusive work of art.
The High Flyer statue is just one piece from the artist, Ed Walby. A retired USAF U-2 pilot, his career spanned 26 years of flight operations piloting the KC-135A, KC-135Q, and the U-2C, U-2R, and U-2S.
Ed's art works are scattered throughout the USAF and around the world at many installations, in the form of murals, paintings and pen and ink drawings. Read more about the artist here.
